Mike Gauba Ph.D. is credited for making significant contributions to the development of high technology management science and applying it to design the success of mobile applications. While, he was a professor at Korea University Business School, he studied the Korean success models for fixed and mobile to understand the dynamics of user adoption of high technology services. During that time, he also initiated a research into designing success of high technology offerings and its application to mobile applications, which became the basis for innovating Six Value Mantras for designing the success of 3G applications. 

Mike has held senior marketing and business development positions with the telecommunications operators like Telstra and Layer 2 Communications and the top tier consulting companies like Cap Gemini. He has also been an independent consultant to StarHub (Singapore), Maxis (Malaysia), SK Telecom (Korea), SiemensMobile and SchlumbergerSema in the areas of strategic and business consulting.

Mike started his business career establishing a major computer manufacturing company and was adjudged as one of the most budding entrepreneurs in IT. He was also invited by ASCII Corporation, a Japanese company to develop and launch a multi lingual MSX based computer system.

Mike’s current specialization is designing the success of 3G initiatives.

He has an undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering and a doctorate in digital signal processing from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. He conducted significant part of his pre-doctoral research at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, New York and has also worked in some of the leading laboratories in the US.
