A failure with the Optus telephone network is disrupting services for the telco's landline customers across Australia.An Optus spokeswoman said Tuesday night some landline customers, in each state and territory, had been experiencing problems making phone calls for hours.
But Optus hopes to had the problem fixed soon, the spokeswoman said."Optus can confirm that for several hours today some people calling landlines on the Optus network experienced intermittent call failure," she said."The issue is close to being resolved. Services are being progressively restored as calls are being re-routed."
